Scope
TurboTEM PULSE uses a live gradient-based digital signal processing algorithm to identify distinct electron events and narrow down piled-up particle profiles in high-speed raw analog signal directly from standard detectors (including scintillator-based systems), then it outputs fully digital TTL-compatible signals representing individual electrons.
Key Benefits
- True Zero Background: Eliminates detector dark noise and background readings, resulting in pure Poisson noise.
- Removes Stochastic Noise: Eliminates varying detector analog gain for electrons of same energy, giving correct quantitative digital signal.
- Low-Dose Optimization: Enables high-precision imaging at very low beam currents without changing out the microscope's core hardware.
- Fast Scanning: Maintains performance and clarity during rapid frame-rates and fast pixel dwell times.
- Cost-Effective Retrofit: Plugs into existing microscope data acquisition architectures with minimal hardware expense.
