Scope

Scan Control app is provided for independent and open control of point electronic GmbH scan controllers, including REVOLON for TEM and DISS6 for SEM.

Intended Scope

Scan Control app is aimed for users wishing to access advanced scan settings not available in the usual integrated microscope control software. It provides direct control of scan patterns, speed, geometry, rotation, signals, triggers, synchronization, adjustments and flyback, as well as live view of acquired images with color look up table,  automatic range, calibrated pixel size and quantitative pixel values.

  • For REVOLON and DISS6 scan controllers
  • TCP/IP and USB device connection
  • Image scan modes for normal flyback, sub-scans, wobble and chopped patterns
  • Pixel maps with free coordinates, variable speeds and beam blanker control
  • Trigger and synchronization settings for cameras and beam blankers
  • Full screen, zoom, auto-range and color LUT views
  • TIFF multipage with embedded XMP metadata file save
  • PEPM plain text pixel map file import
  • MS Windows with .NET 8 Desktop Runtime
